How do I redeem my cash back?
Cash back can be redeemed two ways via your ShoppingBoss account:

1. Apply toward any merchant’s digital gift card: Add the gift card to your cart. On the payment screen, click the box that states “Apply Available Cash Back” and complete the order. Your cash back will be deducted from the total. If your gift card is more than your available cash, your selected credit card will be charged for the balance.

2. Redeem for a Check: From the Dashboard, click on “Redeem Cash” that is located in the Cash Earned box. Choose “Send Me a Check” and the check will be mailed to the shipping address on the account. Choose “Send as a Gift” to send it to someone else by entering their information. You will be prompted to enter the redemption amount and then to click “Redeem.” Please allow 5-7 business days to receive the check. As a reminder, check requests less than $25 have a $5 processing fee.

App Features
Shopping Boss recently launched a new version of the mobile App.

We hope that it makes your navigation easier, and purchases faster. We’ve compiled some screenshots to help you find your way around the features. If you have a previous version of the app, please go to your app updates and update there, or if you want a direct link you may access the app on iTunes and Google Play.

When you first download the app, you will see this welcome screen.
If you are registering an invitation code, you can do so on the App and setup your account. If you already have an account, then you can login. Once logged-in, you will be taken to your dashboard. From there you can:

• Search for merchants and their associated cash back %
• View and manage your cash back
• Contact support
  Manage all aspects of your account via the MY ACCOUNT tab
• Shop
• Wallet – view your gift cards
• More… Manage everything else regarding your Simple Pay Rewards (ShoppingBoss) account

With the new release of the app, we are very excited to offer Touch ID and Face ID if supported by your device. For those without these features, the app will remember your login for you automatically. This should reduce the need to sign in to just cases where you have previously been logged out or there is a new update.

How Does Simple Pay Rewards (ShoppingBoss) Work?
It’s Simple – you subscribe for invitation codes on Simple Pay Rewards, and establish your ShoppingBoss account.  Then, you just shop like you always have at participating merchants, and when it’s time to pay, instead of giving your credit card to the cashier (or food server), you use your smartphone to buy the merchant’s digital gift card through ShoppingBoss. It’s delivered to you instantly, and you use the digital gift card for the purchase, getting up to 9% cash back.

*Please note, once you Register an Invitation Code and create a ShoppingBoss account, you can sign in from any device using your username and password.

Isn’t this just like Ebates/Rakuten?
No, not at all. With Simple Pay Rewards (ShoppingBoss), you earn cash back in stores AND online. Cash back can also be earned at 100’s of restaurants across the country with ShoppingBoss. The ShoppingBoss cash back earned is instant, not deposited quarterly. And the cash back earned can be withdrawn or used for your next purchase with ShoppingBoss.

Best of all, ShoppingBoss can be used in conjunction with Ebates/Rakuten! So if you are an Ebates/Rakuten user, continue to earn cash back through Ebates/Rakuten, but when it comes time to pay for your online purchase, use a ShoppingBoss digital gift card to pay. Let’s say you buy online at Under Armor through Ebates/Rakuten. As an example, when you pay at checkout with a ShoppingBoss digital gift card, you’ll earn 7% from Ebates/Rakuten and 8.1% from ShoppingBoss for a total of  (15.1%) on your purchase!

Can I use Simple Pay Rewards (ShoppingBoss) with Sales or Coupons?
Yes! Smart shoppers maximize coupons, promo codes and store sales first, and then pay for their discounted purchase at checkout with a digital gift card by ShoppingBoss to earn cash back on their discounted checkout price.

Can I have multiple payment methods on file?
Yes, you can have multiple payment methods on file for making digital gift card purchases. These are added to your account in the Profile Section of the site or by making a purchase with the new card during checkout and selecting the box to save it for later. You can also “nickname” your cards for easy reference when making purchases.

How do I check a gift card balance?
Go to your ShoppingBoss Wallet and press the “check balance” button next to any digital gift card and the current balance will appear. If this option is not available, then the merchant does not support balance checks through ShoppingBoss. For these instances, try going directly to the merchant website and look for a “check gift card balance” function.

Balance check information is sometimes provided on the digital gift card itself as well.

Alternatively, you can write a note for the gift card in your wallet and specify how much you’ve used or the balance.

Can I use this to buy plastic gift cards?
Most merchants will not allow you to use a digital gift card to purchase plastic gift cards. For example, you are not able to purchase a CVS digital gift card and then purchase plastic gift cards in the store. There are other situations where brands will not allow you to use their digital gift cards for certain purchases – please check with the merchant first if you are unsure if you are able to use a digital gift card for your intended purchase.

Can I use gift cards to pay my credit card bill?
No. Please check with your credit card issuer to determine what they consider to be a valid form of payment, but in general digital gift cards can only be used on the purchase of merchandise.

You will also receive 3% cash back on Hotels.com bookings when you book through our site. Alternatively, you can take advantage of our partnership with Priceline to earn cash back on on your next airline, hotel, and car rental reservation. With our Priceline partnership, you can earn 9% cash back on hotels, 3% on rental cars. These reservations can take up to 2 weeks to be reported back to us. Once reported, we will post these transactions into your account as Pending Cash. After your hotel stay, flight or car rental is completed, we’ll be notified again and move your cash from Pending to Available.

There are quarterly purchasing maximum limits that are imposed by ShoppingBoss to help manage available inventory with participating merchants. These limits reset on the calendar quarter.

Once you have registered your invitation code, and established a Simple Pay Rewards (ShoppingBoss) account, you can contact ShoppingBoss’ customer service who can provide you with the limits for your membership.
